In our quest to make a positive contribution to society, we primarily care about the work ethics. VLCor Baltic OU is committed to providing equal opportunities for all employees. Our objective is to eliminate unlawful discrimination of any form and create a respectful working environment where every employee can make a difference with their abilities and their diligence. Through partnership and collaboration, we empower them to make personal contributions to the company's success. We are also committed to the ensuring a safe workplace environment that is risk-free to any person involved. That is why we continuously train and supervise our employees with safety workshops; as well as regularly review and update safety information and instructions about usage, handling, storage and transportation of metals.
To be a part of the metal industry means to understand the impact that our business can have on the environment. That is why we incorporate consideration of our potential environmental effects into every decision we make. We source materials from companies that are committed to minimising their harmful impact on the environment; we strive to avoid unnecessary use of hazardous material and products; and, we promote the production and use of materials, which are more environmentally friendly (i.e. have a reduced level of CO2 emission during their processing).
Our team is committed to supporting the community, especially those whose lives are just beginning. Over repeated occasions, VLCor Baltic has contributed to children hospitals and made charitable donations to foundations fighting with life-threatening illnesses. Our employees have also aided local hospitals and orphanages, personally contributing to the lives of youngsters in need. In spite of this, we understand that there are still many more unresolved issues in society. That is why our company is developing long-term, sustainable strategies to support as well as making a continuous effort to identify these issues, to improve the quality of many more lives than it was possible before.
